Your altar is so inspiring! I have done something similar on my desk for a while, but altars seem to involve more intentionality. Would you say so? What else would you add, if you’re interested?

I’d say as much intention as you want. I started making them during Covid times and I’ve never stopped. I change it up seasonally and add icons, crystals, nature finds from my kids, candles, tarot card or whatever is bringing me joy that season. I bought a special broom for cleaning the space and special incense too, but you don’t need to. It has been so good for my soul.

It’s such a beautiful practice. I recommend the rule of 3 - just find 3 beautiful things and arrange them somewhere you’ll see them. 🩷 sometimes I set an intention for the space and cleanse it with incense but it can be as simple or complex as you want!

Lindsey, beautiful altar and spectacular Great Lakes photos. Thanks for those gifts. Also love the haiku by Koboyashi Issa-will definitely read more and watch Everything.... at the first opportunity.

It’s wonderful. I started making a little sacred space during Covid times and I’ve never stopped.
