LINDSEY!!!! "When I see the divine in others, I’m reminded that even when I don’t understand you I don’t have to fear you. When I seek connection I remember that I’m not alone in this world that is on fire", absolutely gorgeous. I'm happy you were able to find some glimmers on your vacation.
I love what you've said about traditionally scary cards being validating. With the terrible air quality recently, my symptoms were so much worse, and I kept pulling really intense cards, and while jarring, it helped me process.
Thank you so much, Lindsey, for the reminder to see the divine in others at a time when you are personally struggling with the “nightmares all around us.” Your words acknowledge difficult realities but feel wonderfully comforting at the same time, reflecting what seems to be your determination to find courage and healing and to share it with us.
My tendency is to always want to find the good in what oracle and tarot cards bring to us, so I have my own different and hopeful interpretation for the 10 of swords. When we start a new chapter in life, such as letting go old beliefs or habits and embracing new ones, there is a dying to the old self that must happen. That’s a good thing! We are letting go of the old us just as we begin to look forward to the new and better us. I don’t know if that actually works for that card, since I don’t know tarot, but it’s where my mind wants to go. 😊
I think that can definitely work for that card! 10s are certainly the end of a cycle, which can feel like a very painful transition sometimes even if it’s leading to something good. Thanks for the feedback Chuck, and for reading.
BTW, hope I didn’t seem like I was contradicting you, Lindsey. It was just an alternative interpretation that popped into my mind as I contemplated the card from a positive viewpoint.

🩷🩷 thanks, Maggie!

I love that, and sorry it’s making you feel worse. 💔 I’ve had some headaches and I’m not sure if it’s smoke or anxiety.
Wonderful read. I felt those cards resonated with the way my week has gone. Thanks
I’m sorry you’re in this sort of energy right now too - but glad it resonated.
Thanks Lindsey, I appreciate that. And as they say, you’ve gotta play the cards your dealt.
Keep the posts coming - even if it is fortnightly :)
